McGuinness, originally from New Hampshire, obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire. He attended physician assistant school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2012 with his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. McGuinness also holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Memphis, obtained in 2021.
He has worked at East Arkansas Family Health Center since 2012. His interests include chronic disease management, HIV/AIDS case management, substance abuse, and hepatitis.
A fun fact about McGuinness is he is married to his best friend, Carmen, and together they have three children. Outside of work, he enjoys running, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family.
