Women’s Health Services Offered at East Arkansas Family Health Center

East Arkansas Family Health Center recently opened a new location in West Memphis. It is dedicated to providing women's health care for adolescent and adult females in Crittenden County and surrounding areas.

Caring for your health requires creating a space where you feel comfortable expressing your concerns and allowing treatment. If you have a condition or concern, our providers will educate you about your choices and treatment options so that you can participate in your care and make informed decisions. Our staff will be with you every step of the way, helping you understand how to care for yourself and your baby with a wellness plan, a healthy diet, and moderate exercise.

Our comprehensive women's health services include:

  • Annual well-woman exams, including Pap smears and breast exams
  • Lifestyle support
  • Referrals for mammograms
  • HPV and STD screening
  • Menopause management
  • Prenatal care and education
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Teen pregnancy services
  • Family planning and contraceptive counseling
  • Fetal assessment and monitoring, including ultrasounds
  • Nexplanon removal
  • Bartholin abscess management
  • Evaluation and treatment of:
    • Abnormal Pap smears
    • Endometriosis
    • Irregular menstruation
    • Uterine fibroids
    • Ovarian cysts
    • Polycystic ovarian syndrome

The state's BreastCare program offers screening and diagnostic services for Arkansas women 40 years and older with no health insurance or limited medical insurance. Qualified women will receive the following services for free:

  • Mammograms
  • Clinical breast exams
  • Pelvic exams and Pap tests
  • Follow-up tests, if needed

For quality OB/GYN care you can afford, call one of our eight medical clinics to make an appointment or request an appointment online.
